So…. I recently posted about how out of shape I was and how I wanted to start the 100 Push Ups program.
Well, things are going well… but these push ups are KICKIN’ MAH BUTT!!!
It is a little neat to see how I am progressing, but daaaaayum…. my arms are sore! I started last Tuesday (because I forgot about it on Monday), so today will be Day 3 of Week 1 and Monday will start Week 2!
Hope my arms last until then…

WTF you ask? On Friday (two days ago), I took the “Initial Test” from the 100 Push Ups program…. where you just simply do as many proper push ups as you can before collapsing into a heap on the floor. How many push ups was I able to do??? … a devastating 13!!!
Wait… whaa? 13?? Only 13 push ups? Holy cow, I wasn’t expecting THAT!
… and my arms are still sore from doing them 2 days ago! LOL
So on Monday, I begin my Week 1 training where I do 5 sets of varying numbers of push ups (with 60 second rest periods in between). I hope that I’m not still sore tomorrow… else this will turn into a REAL treat.

I’m not selling my Mac G5 because I don’t love it… I’m selling it because I no longer require it.
Since I am no longer recording music the way I used to, I don’t need all the horsepower that the G5 tower provided. Over the past month or so, I had been moving over applications and files to my new Macbook Pro when I had an epiphany last night. I totally forgot to move my Digital Performer files off of the old system!
I was freaking out because these files are basically the “master” tracks of every music piece I’ve ever recorded on the computer. I lost many a song in the past because of forgetting to backup those tracks before wiping a drive… so I came up with a better solution than trying to hunt down the files I’ll need… take my hard drives out and put others in!
It made so much sense that I had an out-loud “DUH!” moment! LOL
Now, I don’t need to worry about getting everything off the hard drive before selling the system because I’ll be keeping those drives and replacing them with new ones.
ugh… now I just have to wait for them to come in (probably early next week), swap the drives out, then install Leopard (OS 10.5) onto the new drives so that it is ready to sell.
If interested, I’ll be posting the specs online when the time comes later this month.

I also went across the street and bought an Avatar video game for the Wii… I think I could be a fan of the show now. LOL
I got the larger Appa at the Nickelodeon online shop (link). I didn’t get this one originally because the picture used online didn’t represent it well enough to me.
… I was mistaken. He is AWESOME!

Now, before you get all critical about it, please know that none of the stuff I’ve posted so far are “finished” items. Mostly, they are ideas for songs I’m writing or covering.

As I posted a few weeks ago, I am a BIG fan of the Nickelodeon cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender
…well, my Mall of America APPA came in today!!!
He’s an an amazingly soft “Air Bison” (half bison, half manatee) that just loves the camera…
…uh oh…. look out!!!
This Appa is the 18″ one from the Mall of America (Minnesota)… I like it so much that I’ve asked the lady working there if they have any other sizes…. preferably even larger ones.

So…. there’s this animated TV show that I’ve become obsessed with called “Avatar: The Last Airbender“.
I started watching a few episodes off the Internet via a website that I won’t link here because it contains Spyware for Windows machines (obligatory Mac plug)…. but I got HOOKED!
I went and bought the first two seasons from Amazon.com and a Season Pass for the 3rd season on iTunes…. since the 3rd season isn’t finished yet.
…. last night, my obsession went so far to hunt down and buy a plush character (“Appa”, a flying bison) from the web. It took a bit of work to find one, but I found him at the Mall of America. The Nickelodeon online store sells one, but it looks like a cheap imitation to me.
