I finally wrote an email to the HCSO regarding the use of Radar Drones on personal vehicles. If the FCC doesn’t have a problem with them… and they are sold to the public… I wanted to know that they will approve of my legal use of one.
I have been driving on the roads in the Tampa Bay area for only the past 16 years and each day I see people breaking traffic laws every minute that I’m on the road…. especially speeding. Every day, I realize what a minority I am on the roads. Imagine… a person who actually obeys the traffic/speed laws like they said they would when they applied for a Driver’s License and signed their name to it. That’s me and my wife.
You may think me an ol’ fuddy-duddy, but I don’t care. Most people who even read this know that I can be a bit militant on my attitude towards the “rules” and laws.
I have the honor to do what I swore an oath to do… like when you signed that little piece of paper when you got your license stating that you would obey the laws… remember that? Maybe that’s one reason why I never went into the military… I could never follow the orders of someone that I disagreed with.
I’ve written to the HCSO before and they were quick to respond, so I hope to hear something back soon on this issue.

To be honest, I can’t stand driving for longer than 10 minutes it seems. I start to have what I can only describe as mini-panic attacks to where my blood pressure goes up and I start loosing my breath… feeling like the car is closing in on me.
….and I used to like driving… it used to relax me.
